not sure how to feel about this, the coop might have just needed a governance change

the annoying thing about the ostrich cull coverage is how much time it spends on various non-expert opinions and how little they spend on the latest science, capabilities & safety practices

Hi Bluesky 👋
Small life update: I’m at the centre of a multimillion dollar lawsuit in Alberta launched by a failed candidate for Jason Kenney’s UCP
It may be the longest and most expensive media trial in Canadian history
I’m ready to go public about it and I want to share more details with you 🧵

It's a small graphic design detail, but the loitering guy on TTC signage is actually in front of the red slash, casually leaning against it, making him look *unbelievably* cool.

I'm still so mad at john horgan for fucking this up in bc, we could have straight forward ranked choice voting which would have been a huge leap forward
The Yukon is having a plebiscite tonight on electoral reform, and currently ranked ballots have 60% support with lots of votes left to come in

I feel like I say this every year but I really need people to hear it. Halloween is the best American holiday. Just kids outside welcomed into their world, marching around together, showing off their costumes to the elderly, parents meeting parents, neighbors catching up with neighbors.

i believe the central issue i have with a lot of games these days: publishers seems to push devs into coming up with a business model (i.e.: exploitative crap) and then having them build a game around it

finally saw fantastic four last night... it wasn't good, and I found it really fell flat
stylistically, it looked great, but it wasn't all that fun for a marvel movie, but for how much origin story they skipped, they didn't add enough actual story to care about
anyhow, superman was much better
