Sometimes revisiting old articles doesn't make me squirm but actually makes me laugh. This one - on why (primarily women) sit so strangely and how it affects us, has been a delight. So that's something! www.refinery29.com/en-gb/women-...

Just under three months ago I had my right kidney removed. I’ve spent the time since then recovering and, more importantly, trying to work out how to make this into a story that will further my career. In the end, I wrote about that.🫘

There is a lot of chat about overdiagnosis which is rightly being interpreted as reactionary. But having read Suzanne O'Sullivan's new book, and then spoken to her about it, I think so many of the takes on her work are simplistic.

Hello - I'm going to attempt a #journorequest here.

In the past did you have a dog who was left at home during the day alone while the people went to work/school etc? I'd love to talk to you about this for a feature for The i Paper.

The attached photo is of my dog, Mona. For fun!

Many people will feel relief from this result. Many others will feel fear. No one is cruel for being upset or selfish for cheering. But remember: this is only the start of the legislative process. And only the start of asking how the state can ease suffering - in life as well as death.
