Christine Van Geyn of the Canadian Constitution Foundation and I are in The Hamilton Spectator talking about how important it is for provinces to immediately get serious about breaking down provincial trade barriers the more they realize that the USA is not a reliable trade partner.
The time to tear down internal trade barriers is now
Provinces could choose to enact freer trade, which would unite us as a country during this time of deep economic uncertainty.

What has happened to my friends @jkuznicki.bsky.social and @andycraig.bsky.social is unacceptable. These two people are some of the most intelligent out there, we need their voices. A campaign to try and invoke fear in those who speak their mind is truly a sign of moral failure and reprehensibility

It is laughable that QC's latest bill is meant to show women are equal when they dont let women have the same rights by banning religious symbols, namely the headscarf, from those who work in government service. If men can wear whatever they choose, women should be able to as well. That's equality.

I'm hearing a lot of voices in Canada saying that it is patriotic to show Trump that we will go dollar to dollar and hit the USA with tariffs. The Team Canada approach should rather be one that would not make Canadians suffer more than they already are with affordability.
