@andycraig.bsky.social’s commentary has allowed me to better understand the threat against democracy in America. And @jkuznicki.bsky.social’s book Technology and the End of Authority and his article Gender as Essence and as Economic Choice were very important to me.

Diplomacy now on the supposed issues that Canada has and making a deal with Trump is how Canada avoids an economic depression. We can't be Team Canada when our people suffer due to policymakers' actions.

That means coming together to oppose the use of tariffs at all, either by the USA or Canada, because retaliatory tariffs boomerang right back around and hurt Canadians' pocketbooks. Caring about this country means caring about what happens to its citizens, especially the most vulnerable.
