Please report this website:
I’m officially scared.

Because of this ONE tweet being afraid of potential reverberations of right wing political violence from this — something many others have said — I’m now the first result on a website called “charliesmurderers.”

This is putting me in genuine danger.

What the fuck do I do

This is a serving politician QTing a young woman journalist — someone already subjected to a sustained and dangerous hate campaign, including rape and death threats. Doing this at such a volatile moment can only add to her risk.
Ironically, @rachelgilmore.bsky.social is also expressing her views.

NEW: The Carney government invited President of The Heritage Foundation, those behind Project 2025 to address cabinet. Though the ostensible reason was to gain insight on approaching US trade talks, a deeper look reveals far more. Carney's policies uncomfortably echo Project 2025. #cdnpoli

A meeting of the minds or thoughtful diplomacy?

Hmmm…it’s like three female journalists raised the alarm on this in 2022 and then were subsequently shut down. I wonder who they could be…

These threats have been happening to female reporters and of colour yet nothing substantial was done

So many armchair generals out here tweeting war games & strategy (while clueless) as Israel escalates strikes across the region & the world sits at a dangerous crossroads.
Giving“little boys playing in the sandbox” energy at a critical and rather shameful point in history.

Iran state media confirming at least four officials, including Revolutionary Guard Corps commander-in-chief Gen. Hossein Salami, have been killed in Israeli strikes. Reuters quoting an Israeli military source saying that Iran’s top nuclear scientists also killed.

Media outlets framing Israel’s strikes on Iran as “pre-emptive” might want to look up the word? What was being “pre-empted”? Maybe stop quotes-based reporting now that we are at this critical point in history and let’s do some journalism.

If you’re a former leader in journalism with a history of enabling problematic white men in media, shielding their bad behaviour & consistently failing Black and other JOC, I guess it would track that the first time you do stand up for someone, it had to be a white journalist. With all due respect.
