#mtg with the restocks yesterday I got my hands on an Avatar Commander bundle, a Chocobo Bundle, and an FF scene pack. I am pleased as punch.

Another observation in my mission to find a tabletop game I want to run:
It is really funny to me how hard WotC had to try to make Short Rests matter when other games seem to have made rests more of a Gameplay Element just by defining and limiting actions you can take in a single rest

I will say as someone who frequently browses game crowdfunding sites, while there are still a lot of 5e supplements, it has been interesting to see the huge surge in OSR material over the past few years

while I haven't gotten to play a tabletop rpg for a bit now, I do poke my nose around a lot, and I'm still glad WotC shot itself in the foot so many times. A lot of non-WotC publishers and game designers are just utterly killing it both with the physical product itself and the rules they're doing

Maybe in my neverending battle to build up the courage to Run Some Sort of Tabletop Game, I'd be better off doing like, a hexcrawl ahaha.
