In just a couple years we've already passed the threshold where if you want to buy art/decor/accessories/etc. the only ethical way to do so is by buying directly from the person who crafted it. The volume of mass produced garbage that's using generative AI is too large to be worth sorting through.

BREAKING: Yesterday Grand Theft Auto VI maker Rockstar Games fired dozens of people, all of whom were involved in union efforts. A British union calls it "blatant and ruthless" union-busting. Take-Two Interactive says it was due to misconduct.

If you're a writer/other creator in the United States, consider creating an LLC for your business and then signing up for a local area Chamber of Commerce. Many of them have health insurance plans that pool their members and members of other CoCs to create insurance efficiencies relative to ACA.

I feel an odd guilt for having somehow never seen any of David Lynch's work before he passed. I just finished the entirety of Twin Peaks in the past month and it's left a profound impact on me creatively. In case this message is finding someone who hasn't yet, go watch it.
