Trans people are people, and if that bugs you, then work on yourself. Be better.

If you try out Mastodon, be sure to look for the #gearsquad hashtag. The community there is smaller, but active, friendly, and actively supportive of our trans friends (of which there are several active posters using that hashtag).

It's almost like America is a massive country and what works in a purple state full of military veterans may not work in a deep blue city with millions of registered Dems, and vice versa!

Neither the beltway centrists nor the NYC leftists should dictate the entire party's direction

My band is in here! Thanks so much for the write up, @etherdiver.bsky.social!!

Give it a read, and maybe give us a listen (Stereo Valley, 4th entry). And give all these other groups a listen as well! I know I will.
This 7/11 edition of Other People's Music is Conveniently Weird! While you enjoy a free slurpee today, read about and hear some great lo-fi grooves, operatic electro prog pop, experimental techno, heartfelt garage rock & noisy experimental rock.

I've been quiet for a bit, but most of my free time has been spent mixing my band's full length album. Which is out now!

I'd love for you to give it a listen, or even just part of it. Pick a track! They're all great :)

The infrastructure of the Internet would run longer without electricity than without trans folks tbh
If the US blocks access to HRT, ADHD drugs, and SSRIs, I cannot begin to describe to you how much all of the tech sector will screech to a halt. The internet is built and maintained by trans people, people with chronic depression, and the neurodivergent.

I only use Google products at work, and even then I keep it to the minimum.

ProtonMail for email, Kagi for search, and Apple Maps for, well, maps. I’m glad I made these changes over the past few years so that I don’t feel any angst about using them now.

Sometimes there's a song that comes on, and it just kinda takes you back somewhere or sometime. What song is that for you?

Sugar Ray - Fly.

My high school girlfriend and I would sing this song very loudly and a-tonally whenever it came on the radio, and it was so funny to us every single time. I can’t listen to the song now without going right back to the place. Makes me laugh every time.

Drums.

I think I’d be good at them, but I don’t have any desire to really learn them. I just want to be good already.

I think it was the self titled Collective Soul album, which is their second release.

I don’t listen to it very often at all, but I’d say I still love it.
