it is a strange and sick specimen that panics over its population viability when this is the trend of its species' growth. note how this strongly resembles elon musk's personal wealth trend. perhaps there is more than coincidence in these shared shapes.

Who is actually writing these fucking things? Steven Cheung? Or some kinda DonJohnGPT programmed to get capitalization and punctuation wrong with mechanical precision?
yes! this dude will back down to anyone who tells him to fuck himself! this is the only response worth having!
Trump’s sputtering response to Harvard standing up to him is yet another reason why institutions should refuse to bend the knee. He’s a paper tiger, unable to argue his own case.

Toronto is close. The internet is everywhere. ICE is currently kidnapping kids from US college campuses using masked thugs in hoodies and unmarked cars. Probably best if @timothysnyder.bsky.social protects his voice from a safer redoubt than Yale right now.
In your book ‘On Tyranny’ you say ‘don’t leave’ but you are leaving while institutions/people left and right are capitulating to a dictator - what does that say to the rest of us? I don’t have a huge platform and following but I have no choice but to fight.

🚨NEW: This is horrific.

Musk & DOGE closed the specialist unit at Yale tracking down Ukrainian children kidnapped & stolen by Russia.

HOWEVER, it now emerges the entire database may have been DELETED, destroying years of research needed to find missing children.

If so, there should be arrests.

In order to keep licking pathetically at that delicious nectar of power, the entire Republican party has degenerated into a vicious, insatiable devourer of the United States of America. Hard to see how this ends until the opposition responds with rope.
"Washington has become the court of Nero, an incendiary emperor, submissive courtiers, and a jester high on ketamine in charge of purging the civil service.

This is a tragedy for the free world, but it is first and foremost a tragedy for the United States."

BREAKING: Trump shuts off intelligence to Ukraine, cutting off data for drones, air attacks, and air defense

This is a clear and direct violation of the Budapest Memorandum of 1994 - in which US gave security guarantee to Ukraine in exchange for Ukraine giving up nukes and ships

by which i mean... while i realize most of the SOTU tonight must be spent dwelling on presidential vanity, posturing, false claims and outright lies, I have some worries about larger issues relating to the continued structural integrity of our government and society.
I hope he talks a little at the SOTU tonight about where the new privatized #deathcamps are gonna get built. I was thinking Texas but it looks like Louisiana or Mississippi could work great too!

Trump provokes chaos because chaos hides the crimes. Not Fog of War in his case, but Fog of Grift. The dominance cosplay and contrived agency with these vandals is always cover for gross venality. There is never public good, just increasingly enormous personal corruption.

(hospitality, decency, democracy, strategy, independence) + integrity. That was a tactical ambush by Trump and Vance, deployed in bad faith and executed incompetently. Their intent was to create a made-for-TV dominance performance, a public humiliation of Zelensky.
Here I react to the shameful behavior of American leaders and media toward the Ukrainian president. No doubt there were more, but I saw five failures on our side: of hospitality, decency, democracy, strategy, and independence. Please watch and share.

How can it not be obvious that the entire theater of denial and displacement traces to a refusal to face the monster of (anthropogenic) ecological destabilization? That natural CO2 sequestration peaked in 2008 should make us all sick with dread.

pretty concise distillation of the essence of #magat philosophy.
Confirmed to be an unvaxxed child.

We have to talk about the foreign influence campaigns around vaccines.

Hostile intelligence agencies — and their useful idiots in the US — are convincing the “do your own research” crowd to kill their children to own the libs.
