I would not even bat an eye at someone on a Weezer cruise, listening to them cover Africa, while coloring in an official Weezer coloring book.

Of those three things, the coloring book is not the weirdest
Speaking of '90s bands, I just got a thing advertising "the Weezer Coloring Book Collection," and before realizing it's a box set of all the "color" albums, I thought Weezer might ACTUALLY be the kind of band to release a bunch of coloring books.

Any of my nerdy comics or music pals on here big fans of the Spin Doctors? I'm looking to put together a thing timed to the 35th anniversary of "Pocket Full of Kryptonite" later this year, and I'm wondering if there might be a fun collaborator or two out there.

Just like all of Trump's SCOTUS nominees did. And suffered no consequences, setting the stage for this mess.
LIED. He lied. And a lot of people said he was lying. Then there was another hearing. Where he lied.

In his confirmation hearings, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told U.S. senators that he would not cut funding for vaccine research or change the nation's official vaccine recommendations. He did both. n.pr/46QDn9p

I'm all for pardons and second chances. But it's a hell of a juxtaposition to pardon millionaire NFL players convicted of drug distribution while you're summarily executing impoverished fishermen making a few hundred bucks to shuttle drugs around the Caribbean.
President Trump pardons Hall of Famer Joe Klecko and four other former NFL players
Trump pardoned Klecko, Nate Newton, Jamal Lewis, Travis Henry and the late Billy Cannon for crimes ranging from perjury to drug trafficking.

I parsed through some of the emails in the Epstein files, and it’s very clear that Epstein was a eugenicist weirdo. Something he very much had in common with the billionaire class à la Elon Musk, Peter Thiel and Donald Trump. New for @motherjones.com.

Epstein couldn't stop emailing people about eugenics
In the latest files, the trafficker gives it a Silicon Valley–pilled name: "genetic altruism."

If you saw today's headline that Gallup will stop measuring presidential approval, they did the same thing in 2018. They do it whenever Trump is president.

So I'm sick as a dog today. My body kind of hates a prescription I'm on, and I've been suffering through it a bit. Gonna spend some time with Cort and Van Der Beek's work tonight and tomorrow.

Sending love and warmth out to my work friends who knew or admired Bud Cort and James Van Der Beek. I grew up at the right age for James to be a huge part of my teen years and 20s, and actually encountered Cort around that same time through @thatkevinsmith.bsky.social's incredible film DOGMA.
