Inadequate bike infrastructure is a major contributor to cyclist casualties in the US, but the attitudes of US drivers are also a huge factor. They view cyclists not as fellow commuters but as obstacles that don’t belong there, and they assume anyone biking instead of driving is being a contrarian.

People often ask for a video on biking in hot climates. Not sure how much we can say, we've never lived in one!
Summers in Canada get hot by *our* standards, but I'm sure people from Spain, Singapore, or Texas would laugh at what we consider hot (just like we laugh at what they consider cold).

I get asked this when I pick up groceries on my cargo bike and when I grab lunch on my road bike. Do I give off courier vibes or something lol
On my way home after dropping the kids off this AM another person on a bike pulled up next to me at a light and asked:
“What kind of deliveries do you do with that?”
Me: “Getting my kids to school, groceries, etc.”
Person: “Oh, aren’t you a bike messenger?”
Me: “Oh, no! Just a parent. ☺️”
