TEMPTATION
(My first homemade meme)
"Individuals need not believe all these mystifications, but they must behave as though they did, or they must at least tolerate them in silence, or get along well with those who work with them. For this reason, however, they must live within a lie." (V. Havel) www.unpopularfront.news/p/living-in-...

I did, Jan, and even though I do not know the exact location, it was painful to see this happening in my former neighborhood. What gives me hope are all the brave people around who recorded the murder on their cell phones.
Did you see the news from your former neighborhood, @rudysinger.bsky.social? Only a few blocks from where George Floyd was murdered when you still lived there. Even though I was in 🇨🇦 at the time, I feel a certain closeness to this terror unfolding further & further. 🤯
You and your wife drop your 6-year-old off at school. You just moved here. You see ICE terrorizing your new neighbors. You film them, as is your legal right. Your wife complies with orders. She is then shot in the head. You still have to pick up your child later today.

This could be you.

Trump campaigned on an “America First” platform. Now he wants to "run" Venezuela?

60% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck. Health care is collapsing. Housing is unaffordable.

Trump should address these major crises at home and end his illegal military adventurism abroad.

Marine Le Pen's statement strongly condemns the US intervention in the name of "state sovereignty." This reflects a traditional anti-American sentiment within the French far right, but also a desire to avoid distancing herself from the French mainstream, which is rather critical of Trump.

Israel: it's OK to seize the West Bank and Lebanon

The US is now responsible for the governance of Venezuela. Toppling the regime of a smaller country is always the easy part. The hard part is what comes after. Neo-cons always expect a pro-US nirvana. It rarely works out. But I suppose the oil companies can seize some assets.
