Cricket's head is tilted back and slightly towards the viewer and it has a lax sort of smile on its face. One arm is draped across its stomach, and the other hangs free so the fingers nearly brush the floor. Cricket is dressed in a loose, partially unbuttoned shirt, suspenders, and nondescript brown pants. It has a black stylized cricket tattoo on both forearms, and a striped neck tattoo that ends in feathers under the collarbone, and then a skull over the sternum. They appear to be in ramshackle office, and pinned to the side of their desk is a notice advertising "RTnorth's DTIYS. Join in until Dec. 7th. Use #rtnorthDTIYS". The lighting is entirely an artificial neon pink.

This is the first time I’ve done a monthly writing challenge. What I am writing is objectively bad. But it is training my consistency which pleases me. It’s also rewiring my brain trained on writing fanfic in my teens where I posted chapters the minute I decide they were done. What do you mean-

Today is the scariest day of each year: the day I make a fruit cake. In pop culture fruit cake is treated as something gross and unloved, but it’s still very much enjoyed where I live. I feel the weight of tradition and generations before me every time I have to make it lol.

All the leaves on our ginkgo tree have fallen, carpeting our driveway in sunshine. Also, it took me ages before I could consistently type "ginkgo" correctly, so I am happy to have an excuse to use it today.

Hi there, I'm a professional Graphic Designer and I make a comic in my free-time. It's called Hellhound and it's just about a guy trying, and sometimes failing, to figure out life. Oh and he's a wizard, so there's magic and monsters and stuff.

The main character (John. No last name) in his Hellhound uniform of a black suit and black bird skull mask. He's using fighting magic and probably about to go kill something. A page from the first issue of Hellhound. It's in black and white because I hadn't figured out how to color it yet. There is a monster with lots of eyes and tentacles and teeth and John is trying to stop it from eating a crowd who are busy taking video of him with their phones last page of chapter 1 of Hellhound -- John is fighting ghouls in a cemetery. He's wearing the mask and suit and using magic. A page from chapter 2 of Hellhound. 9 panels of John freaking out because his clothes are wet and he has to leave. He uses a spell (probably modified that he's never used before but you don't get to know that yet) to dry it so he can get dressed.
