A rough sketch for an event CG for my RPG project. Devon is a blond elven guy with chin-length hair, heavy eye-liner and a long tan coat while Haze is a slightly taller guy with long, wavy white hair on a ponytail, small wings for ears and a blue military uniform. After a long day of hunting monsters and whatnot, Devon has walked Haze home under the starry night skies. The streetlamps cast light from a small distance. I don't want to spoil too much of the story, but Haze ends up grabbing Devon by the face and giving him a kiss in the cover of his front door. Devon's face flushes pink and he stares wide-eyed at Haze. This. This is almost in public, gosh, what are you doing? What if someone sees! Oh well, Haze doesn't really care and I don't think Devon will have the brain capacity to say anything anytime soon either. A screenshot mock-up for my visual novel. Cole is an elven man with fair skin, short black hair and reddish brown eyes. He wears a black suit and bowtie as he is a cleric serving the lord of the underworld. He usually wears a white mask with black eyes and small horns but in this scene he holds it in his hands, having just removed it from his face. His eyes seem to glow red as the room's light dwells in them. He says: "He wanted to fight with magic? Fine. The Lord Hierophant from the Pentagonal Dominion books. He’s a tall, dark-skinned man with an elaborate beard and mustache, and purple jewels embedded in his face around his eyes and on his forehead. He’s dressed in purple priestly robes with images of peacocks (regular colored and one with red/yellow coloration). He has wings coming out of his lower back, as well as wings for ears and on his wrists. He is holding a whip and has a pained, vicious expression on his face, as if sad that he has to torture his victim. All around him is purple, like a purple light is shining on him.

Yes, she ended up not hitting Svart, but she did more damage to Caelgan than that ever Boss did

He is an influential politician and schemer who appears to be allied with the main protagonist. He is an elegant bishie (pretty boy) who appears to be in his late twenties or early thirties, with long, curly medium purple hair that extends past his shoulders and pink eyes with white pupils. He is wearing an elaborate red and purple outfit that resembles traditional Chinese hanfu and is holding a pipe that is shaped like a serpent's head in his right hand. Yao’s outfit is extremely expensive and is decorated with a good amount of gold and gemstones. His boots and sash are especially elaborate and have large, teardrop-shaped rubies embedded in them. When Lucognidus slew Demon King Elhaim, he saved the world and became it's Hero and God. He's not usually called a hero as much in the centuries after because, well, it's more 'correct' to think of him as a God. But historically, his worship started as literal hero worship.
Lucognidus from the Pentagonal Dominion books. He is a God with dark skin, long black hair, and peacock-themed clothes and helmet. He has one hand raised up, with his fingers (which are tentacles) curled in a powerful pose. He has a wicked smirk, portraying power and grace. #ProjectVardan was, once again, inspired by my playthrough of a farming sim, this time Stardew Valley. :-D

I'll link an earlier post on that in a reply!
My first sketches of Vardan and Eric. Their looks haven't changed much even the story sure has. The only change on Vardan is that his vest had a slightly simpler design. Just a brown leather vest with lacings instead of buttons. Eric is also mostly the same, though I changed his hat from this upside-down satchel like thing with a feather into a medieval flat cap. But his hair was always long, wavy, blond and all over his face. There also are my original character notes. The stuff that stayed the same are Vardan being mid-30s while Eric is early-30s, Vardan raising fire-elemental foxes, some of which have angora-like fur. He's big and tough, loves fishing but can't make a living on it, and likes people but needs space. Eric also still is sociable but not obnoxious. As for the stuff that changed, Vardan is no longer a mercenary nor a hunter. He just raises his foxes and helps the local reeve and townsfolk with whatever they need. Eric also is no-longer a bard but rather a storyteller. Eric also didn't choose to stay in town because of vardan, but rather moved in because he found out his late grandfather left him his old home. Meeting Vardan was just a nice bonus! And lastly, in the original script, vardan was sent to a war during which he realized he could die without telling Eric about his true feelings. And when Vardan finally returned home from the war, he finds out that Eric had left town while he was gone, having assumed Vardan didn't really care for him since he never said anything or even wrote him a letter. The story has indeed changed a lot on that front. Smiley face.

I had the pleasure of touring the current Ct Children's Hospital new tower installation yesterday where my work of 80+ pieces is going up! I will hopefully collect a bigger portfolio page of everything with professional snaps soon, but couldn't be happier with how things came out!
