i'm actually struck by how pete hegseth isn't just a cowardly man but a capital-c Coward. a guy who gets off on abusing and hurting people he thinks are weaker than him and then tries to run and hide when there might be consequences

Seems like a weird thing to tweet on the day when your boss said he’d pardon someone convicted of sending 400 tons of cocaine into the US.
seems suboptimal

Hegseth is such a prissy little twerp. You can smell the envy coming off this post.

Good God. I just read through an AI historical analysis of some matters with which I'm intimately familiar with the details. Al analysis is clearly oblivious to the challenge of the impact of perspectival bias in analyzing historical accounts. It just summarizes everything at random.

The smartest take I've seen on today.
I wasn't going to say shit but I have to call y'all out on your bullshit. Trump ain't changing and Mamdani did nothing spectacular. Trump does this in person with folks. Ask Obama. Then he flips on your ass.

More like a Little League preseason game.
In retrospect, hilarious that Jim Comey put together the 1927 Yankees of legal teams and then they saw that they were actually playing in the Little League World Series
So an invalidly appointed prosecutor brough an unvoted indictment, based on evidence violating the 4th amendment, attorney client privilege, and the 5th amendment. Against "false claims" that were literally true, all on direct order of a vindictive president?

Is this the most dismissable case ever?

Michigan's elections have been safe, secure and accurate when administered by both Democratic and Republican Secretaries of State. Recent years have seen inquiries and reviews, all of which confirm that Michigan’s elections were administered according to the law.

This is a bad deal, and the old way of doing things is clearly not working.

We need new leaders in the Senate.

I am getting really, really fed up with all the leftie hatred for Elissa Slotkin, and all the accompanying dishonesty about her positions.

Anyone who knows her views knows she was not going to vote for the #CaveBill. She was elected because of her ACA support, and she is not going to undercut that.
Tonight, I am voting no on a procedural vote on an appropriations deal that would re-open the government. Since July, I have been clear: to earn my vote, Republicans would have to do something to bring down the cost of health care for working and middle-class Michiganders. (1/4)

Does no one realize that health care costs are pretty much the only thing Slotkin cares about?? Its personal to her and she's been very consistent about it her whole career.

Americans can’t afford this deal.

Democrats can fight AND win — just like we did in our budget battle in Michigan.

A promise isn’t a deal. Don’t settle.
