MO banned health dept from talking about health equity, repro justice, etc 2+ yrs ago. TX won’t even release their mortality data since they tightened abortion restrictions and Bill Cassidy swears LA’s maternal mortality numbers aren’t that bad if you don’t count Black women. They’re tryna kill us.

When people hear that Black women are 3x more likely to die than white women from pregnant related causes please know that’s a national average, the stat is edging closer to 5x, & outcomes vary in states and cities, I’ve heard as high as 16x in parts of AL & MO. NYC is 9x and NY state is 5x
