In Texas, a trans youth attempted suicide after the governor launched investigations into the families of trans youth. As a result of the directive, the hospital staff reported the family to DCF which then investigated the family. The very thing that caused that youth to attempt suicide.

After Arkansas passed it's law banning care, it came out at trial when Dr. Michele Hutchison testified at least 4 trans youth in her care attempted suicide and were hospitalized. These anti trans laws are directly resulting in suicide attempts by trans youth.
The latest review from JAMA Pediatrics has uncovered that 26% of trans youth have attempted suicide. That's actual attempts, ideation was even higher.
The trend was most pronounced in North America, where anti-trans laws have been common.

What's endlessly depressing about this is that Elon bought it with the presumption that the political class was too hooked on Twitter to leave even after he turned it into a Nazi CSAM generating cess pool that would shift their views to be more conservative, and he was right.
X is absolutely cooking the brains of the entire political class that remains on there. The ones who think they're immune are probably the most affected.

You're not an affirming provider if you can't or won't treat gender dysphoria like the serious medical issue it is for some of us.
I don't care if you have little boxes on your forms for pronouns - new pronouns did nothing for my gender dysphoria, the right meds cleared it right up.

Even with the legislative assault, compromises were made such as bans on trans youth surgery in exchange for not banning access to HRT, Arizona and New Hampshire being the examples. New Hampshire banned care fully for trans youth this year. Compromise didn't work.
