What was your funniest fuck-up of 2025?

Mine was at an animal rescue adoption event. I was tellin a young guy about a 10mo lab mix that was there looking for a home. Super good girl, well trained. I meant to tell him that she knew how to sit and shake.

What came out was:
"She knows how to shit."

An update on this: the artist who did the design for the official store (Vibri) reached out to me on twitter. They did reference my pin banners in making the official ones.

Vibri has been very polite, is new to merch making, and we are discussing what happens going forward. 💙

Mabel, one of my 7 month old foster kittens, was diagnosed with Ocular FIP on the 23rd. Due to the chaos of the holidays, my posts about her are a little behind 😅 but i do want to report that we seem to have caught it VERY early, and she has started her life saving injections already 🩷
Mabel, a gray and white teenage kitten, lays comfortably in her foster's arms. One of her eyes is a different color, with what looks like blood pooling at the bottom and corner of it. A gray and white kitten's face is held in her fosters hand. There is a focus on her left eye, which is discolored and has darkness pooling in the bottom of it.

Last night, 3 of our foster kittens quietly went to their adoptive homes 👀 Reese & Mars will be surprising a 16yr old girl this morning, and Twix will be surprising a 4 year old girl and her lonely adult cat whose partner passed away this year 🥹

I am SO excited for the adopters to send me updates.
