April 2022 Income Tax Threshold £12,570
April 2031 Income Tax Threshold £12,570

Should be about £16,970.

Meaning every person earning £16,970 or more is paying £1,231.86 more in tax.

Threshold freezes are a tax on the poorest.

This petition was rejected because it was too similar to another petition: "Remove power to cancel local government elections."

#RejectedPetition
Petition: Remove power to cancel local government elections.
Change the law to remove the power of the Secretary of State to cancel any further forthcoming local government, metropolitan borough, London borough or any other elections, for example, but not limited to, those due in May 2026.

Petition has passed the threshold for a response: "Require drivers to stop and take cats to the vets if they hit them in their car"

The government will respond to this petition as it has 10001 signatures

#PetitionAwaitingResponse
Passed 10,000 signatures: Require drivers to stop and take cats to the vets if they hit them in their car
We want the government to make it law that if you hit a cat you must legally report it and take it to the nearest vets.

Went out to walk the dogs in the rain and found an ambulance crew helplessly stuck in a muddy verge. With help from neighbours from four houses and a second ambulance crew - and the world's smallest digger - we got the poor sods out and off to the station for end of shift.
