"To eternal shame. Jews, who suffered a genocide 80 years ago, are committing genocide in Gaza. Shame, rage, and sorrow"

On 16 June, we convened a group of amici to submit observations in the Al Hassan reparations proceedings before the International Criminal Court.

The brief highlights gendered and intersectional harm, presumption of victimhood, and risk of early release.

Wow. Bunurong Elder Mark Brown staying the course and completing his Welcome to Country this morning in the face of horrifying ignorance and aggression is so moving. What a leader.

The scale and speed of this hypocrisy is staggering
Less than 4 months ago, Hungary spoke at the #ASP, calling on states to “end impunity” & “avoid non-essential contact” with ICC suspects.

Today, it welcomes Netanyahu—subject of an active ICC arrest warrant—and announces plans to leave the Court.

It was a lovely sight to see Sydney University fly the trans flag for Transgender Day of Visibility. At a time when academic institutions are ignoring trans voices and countenancing transphobia because of political and other pressures, small gestures of symbolic support like this feel significant. 🏳️‍⚧️

The Trump Administration Accidentally Texted Me Its War Plans
U.S. national-security leaders included me in a group chat about upcoming military strikes in Yemen. I didn’t think it could be real. Then the bombs started falling.

This is a campaign of eradication.
