Congratulations to all the Democratic candidates who won tonight. It’s a reminder that when we come together around strong, forward-looking leaders who care about the issues that matter, we can win. We’ve still got plenty of work to do, but the future looks a little bit brighter.

If nothing else, the last nine months should have made it clear that elections matter. But what’s remarkable about America is that we have the power, as citizens, to change this country by voting. Go to IWillVote.com.

In Donald Trump's mind, there is only him. He is everything. Everything is his. Everything is about him. Nothing else, no one else, matters.

In his own mind, he is the law. Everyone must follow him. He is the only one who gets to say what is right and what is wrong. ...

Just want to urge anyone in the U.S. eligible to vote for anything at all this election cycle to please do so. Shock everyone with the turnout. Make jaded pundits cough coffee out their noses. Make poll volunteers smile. Make voter suppressors nervous again.

From school board members to Governors, EVERY election matters. If you don’t #VOTE, you not only have to live with the consequences, so does your neighbor. There’s no excuse not to vote. Polls open early and stay open late. If you need a ride, ask. I guarantee someone will get you to the polls.

I will be working the polls on Tuesday. There’s only one issue on the ballot where I’m at, but other areas of the country have a number of issues and candidates to vote on. Every election is important regardless of what or who is on the ballot. Change only happens when you VOTE!

I’ve said it before, no social media after dinner.

It’s for our betterment as a society that we read a book, listen to music, play with our kids and dogs, look up at the stars, write our feelings down in a diary, pick out our fits for tomorrow and pretend we live in The Time Before The Internet.
Hello. It is past 5pm eastern time.

It is the time of The Horrors. It is not recommended to be on Bluesky at this time.

Why, you ask? Well, you might find that posts are filled with doom, they are sad, hopeful, terrified and fearful.

This is people Processing The Horrors.

It’s so easy to feel powerless right now. I get it. We may indeed not have the power to do some things. But we can donate to a food bank. Volunteer. Foster an animal. Seek to find opportunities to give genuine compliments. Get sleep so we can think more clearly. Create art. This too is fighting.

The average American family pays roughly $18,000 in federal income tax, so $230,000,000 is the equivalent of more than 12,700 families' taxes.
Fetterman describes Trump trying to steal $230 million from taxpayers as "small ball, and I think we have much bigger problems than worrying about those things."

FACT!
Senator Susan Collins is reported to “strongly oppose" the Trump administration's plans to permanently lay off federal workers.

When Collins goes all-in and becomes "deeply concerned" and "disappointed," she'll be well on the road to doing... absolutely nothing.

I couldn’t have said it better.
We are in this mess because Donald Trump is a hateful bigot, narcissist and sadist who can’t stand the fact that most people can’t stand him so he needs to mete out retribution to punish all those who hate him for who and what he is. That…and millions who cheer on his hateful ways. What a world.
