NFLD’er on PEI. Canon and Fuji shooter. Habs nut. Maybe just overall nut.
Here’s what I don’t get…

As soon as the roads start looking like a winter tire ad, everything closes.

Rabbit/hare passed by very close to the house. It actually went onto the basement deck and hopped through the top floor patio supports.

Any weather lore buffs know if finding ants in your house on the 10th of February is a sign of spring? I’ve killed three already today.

In my ongoing musical expeditions, I’m currently going through Iggy Pop’s discography. After last night’s album of rock/punk bangers with guests like Green Day & Sum41, I’m getting whiplash from “Après”, which has him singing French crooner-style covers.

“Skull Ring”, by Iggy Pop. Banger after banger.

One of my cousins was murdered by two men in the 1980s. Well…. there’s murder and then there’s what they did to her. For at least one of the guys, she was not the first murder victim.

One of the guys was just approved for day parole and I am seriously not OK with this.

Found out today that a concert I went to in 1990 is on YouTube. Now that was 90 minutes well spent!

Smallish venue - under 1,000 people. No seats. Couldn’t find myself in the crowd, though.

Largest flock of snow buntings I’ve ever seen. Easily a couple hundred.

Ruin a movie by replacing one word in the title with "Sausage"

“All Quiet on the Sausage Front”

“Tinker Tailor Sausage Spy”
Ruin a movie by replacing one word in the title with "Sausage"

"Sisterhood of the traveling Sausage"

Idk why that was the first movie that popped into my head 🤔

Ooh!

"Harriett the Sausage"

Friday, my wife built a snowman in the paddock to see how Jayne would react. She was underwhelmed.

Kept Jayne in the barn all weekend due to the weather. Let her out this morning, she walked over to the snowman & decapitated him!

And then she had the gall to pose with the body. 😁

Just wrapped up listening to the #Rush studio discography. Wasn’t a fan in my youth. Liked it much more than I thought I would. Not sold on their synth period.

Found that post-synth, I would have generally preferred the songs to be instrumentals.

Thanks, Canadian winter for the assist! Brrrr…

Up at 6. Did chores, including visits to the Post Office and Home Depot for some DIY supplies. All done and home by 9:00.

I am exactly what my age and gender would lead you to believe.

Imagine for a moment that you’re a well loved and pampered horse. What’s your bedding made of?

If you guessed wood pellets soaked in water to fluff them up, go to the head of the paddock!

“The Passenger”, by Iggy Pop. Definitely worth 4 minutes of your time. Great driving song.

I grew up in a house of pretty modest means. I agonized over every cassette tape I bought. One of my buddies received a twin deck boom box for Xmas & we spent weeks copying each other’s tapes.

If you had told me then that one day I’d have the equivalent of a Sam the Record Man in my pocket…

A Newfoundlander raises his head above the parapet. Before he speaks:

“DILDO!”, he hears from around the globe.

He ducks. Returns to hear:

“SPREADEAGLE LAKE!”

He ducks again. Returns for one more attempt. Raises his head & hears:

“CONCEPTION BAY! COME-BY-CHANCE!

He sighs and walks away.
We see your Humble Jumble Lane and raise you Crack-brain-court and New Martin Street a.k.a. Shall-I-go-naked-street! These are from Whitechapel, London, in the early 1700s. Does anyone have any more stupendous street names, from #OnePlaceStudies or elsewhere, to share on #OnePlaceWednesday?

One of Dad’s brothers died on Boxing Day. Heart attack after shovelling snow.

Dad had an older half-sister I’d never met. I found out she had died when I read my Uncle’s obituary.

What a family.

LOL. I just got back from fixing loose shingles. The pitch of the roof is about 45 degrees. The temperature here is substantially fewer degrees.

@merriam-webster.com , you’re pretty, pretty good.

Here one for Newfoundlanders of a certain vintage - I sold a Bobby Orr rookie card to Skipper.
Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie
