I get what you are saying, but we can't keep saying DO SOMETHING and then be pissed when someone does. The true test of his impact will be what happens now. If nothing changes, we will know our answer. But at least this is... Something?

Don't get your hopes up. He's won very close races his last two elections. He likes to say things to get people to think he's better than he is so they might vote for him and then always votes party line in the end.

This is what a high school student told the Granbury ISD school board. Wow.
"I'm not going to sit here and talk about the slippery slope that book banning leads to because I learned from a book, that I checked out from my school's library, that I don't need to resort to logical fallacy to make a point. I'm simply going to say that no government - and public school is an extension of government - has ever banned books, and banned information from its public, and been remembered in history as the good guys."

Okay, I’m hoping this will gain some traction on Bluesky *inhales* SALEM PUBLIC LIBRARY IN OREGON IS IN DANGER OF CLOSING. This sets a dangerous precedent for state capital libraries!!
