LOVE ME, I’M A POSTLIBERAL (Lyrics):

I cried when they shot Donald Trump
Tears ran down my spine
And I cried when they shot Charlie Kirk
As though I'd lost a father of mine
But Rob Reiner got what was coming
He got what he asked for this time
So love me, love me, love me, I'm a Postliberal
Conspiratardism is for rightoids what "black vikings Netflix show" is for leftoids. Very excellent essay.

I find the @whstancil.bsky.social backlash strangely fascinating.

At its core it seems to be a desperate effort by folks further to the left to avoid having a liberal (with communication skills) become the face of their movement.

But, to be honest, winning was always going to require that.

Whatever you think about Stancil, he’s one of the very few people in our times that can be rightfully considered a true “political soldier”. And I say it with utmost respect
Seeing all the “professional” activists go after Stancil is negatively polarizing me into a stance that Minnesota is winning because it’s normal people rising to the occasion and pushing a lot of activist nonsense out of the way by doing it

Trump thinks tariffs are like racket mafia impose to business.
“Oh you want to work here? You’re welcome but you have to pay for protection”
Je comprends pas le présupposé qui voudrait que des droits de douane seraient plus une punition pour l’exportateur que pour l’importateur, présupposé qui semble le fondement de toute la politique extérieure américaine

Just a reminder that Trump is selling Venezuelan oil and depositing the proceeds into a bank account in Qatar that is NOT under any control by the US government or Congress.

He's just stealing it. It really is that simple.

I’ve been stalwart backer of transatlantic alliance all my life. I understand why Europeans have so far trod softly/tried to keep Trump onside. But, there comes a time when you have to face reality. The US is no longer our ally. Its defense guarantee is worthless. Time to kick ass back🧵

Gavin Newsom could unironically exploit this message to move some moderate voters to Dems.
President Obama deported more people than Trump, all without letting ICE killing innocent citizens.
All offense, no due respect, but, I think that if you are taking any time or effort right now to do "Ackshully, OBAMA was even worse in terms of raw numbers deporting people AND did you know he hired Tom Homan?" discourse, then I assume your head's so far up your ass you can smell Sunday dinner.
