Posting a criticism of Charlie Kirk - much less noting something outrageous he himself said - is not “celebrating” his murder. Nor is it condoning his murder. It is simply saying that his political career and legacy are not something to be celebrated. And that is not the same thing at all.

One thing I wish all Democrats knew is that we don't expect you to be fearless. We expect you to be brave. Bravery is not the absence of fear. It is being afraid and moving ahead anyway.

If you find that you are neither, then it is time to step aside. There are people who can do this job ably.
ive never seen anything like rhetoric coming from the right in the last week, this is absolutely insane and it needs to stop and people in power need to start speaking the fuck up like right the fuck now

@aarongies.bsky.social as a resident of NY-23 in Clarence, I'm wondering how I and others can assist your campaign. I've been calling Langworthy multiple times a week, and my frustration level is high. Looking for opportunities to help get a competent representative in his place.

Could they possibly make it sound more of interest and concern to the public?

Not to get too hopeful on main but fascism hinges on the projection of strongman invincibility and every ding and crack in that image is a win for resistance.

And boy howdy was there some good dinging and cracking delivered today
It doesn’t solve anything and it definitely doesn’t change anything but it is kind of nice to know that he knows that his big macho honk honk birthday parade sucked
Trump looking absolutely inconsolable at his fascist-themed 79th birthday party which no one turned up to other than those who had to because he's their boss.

Interesting. Polls are showing American voters don’t like the idea of being under military occupation by a wildly angry game show host for no reason

Today's calls to Congress were rough to get through.

Today's calls: The no rogue rulings act is an abomination and must not pass. Crippling the one branch of government still doing its job to hold the administration accountable for its illegal actions is authoritarian nonsense

3 comments for the rep today: Trump doesn't have the authority to impose tariffs! Support bipartisan legislation like the Trade Review Act of 2025 to prevent further damage to our economy.

A quick 🧵of the incredible sights in cities across the USA right now.

Millions are on the street speaking out against Trump & Musk trampling the Constitution.

Let’s start here with Salt Lake City 😳👏

I was there, but I think I'm already on Elmwood marching back when this picture was taken. Crowd was huge.

Many calls today: Pleased to see Mr Langworthy's Lifespan Respite Care Reauthorization act. It's a nice departure from the daily polishing of Trump's boots and shows some concern for his constituents.

Serious contender for tariff quote of the day from @mmasnick.bsky.social. "...when you buy a toy for $50 at a store, you have a “trade deficit” with that store. You gave them $50, they gave you $0. But you also got a toy. That’s not the store cheating you — that’s just how buying things works." 🔥🧠🏦

Today's comment, with barely restrained fury: the no rogue rulings act is a violation of the separation of powers. The reason judges - both republican and democrat - are ruling against the administration is because it is breaking the law. 1/2

Trump’s “Best Security People” Can’t Figure Out Basic Security
This hasn’t been a good week for those who believed that Donald Trump would bring in the “best, most competent” people around. Fresh off the revelation that a bunch of the top cabinet and security …

Today's calls were to both senators opposing the weakening section 230 of the dmca. Rep got 2 because first went to voice mail: trafficking people without due process, should result in investigations and jail for violators.

Been so busy of late, but back to documenting my call scripts. While using others' scripts is quick and easy, I find writing my own to be more cathartic.

What an absolute nightmare. A high school student saw his friends crash their Cybertruck and rushed to help, but was only able to rescue one of them because the car's doors would not open from the outside.

He watched his three other friends burn to death.

Today's call: Representative Langworthy's introduction of the Veto your Visas act is a transparent attack on the first amendment and he should immediately withdraw it. Hamas and Palestine are separate entities, and I sure hope Rep Langworthy is capable of understanding that.

Today's call: Encouraging Rep Langworthy to restore funding for NIH grants, as we're about to lose a generation of scientists and the research they do, which is going to put us behind the rest of the world.

Proud of if today's bespoke call scripts to my Republican Rep. "[R rep] seems to be more afraid of President Trump, than he is proud to represent us effectively. Perhaps it's time to resign"

1/2 Today's call was a bit wordy. "Economic short term pain for long term gain is an obvious lie. Creative destruction is not happening.
