I feel like I haven’t posted on bluesky in ages, probably due to being in Scotland with the girlfriend for a couple of weeks and then immediately getting sick on return, but I’m still alive and around and thinking about Them as always.

Sleep is a biological necessity, and sleep deprivation has real physical, psychological, and social consequences that need to be taken seriously. The way our society treats it as slothful to sleep according to natural rhythms (including midday naps and variant chronotypes like night owls) is evil.
Do you have any extremely niche, but serious, ethical stances?

It is wild that Charlie Kirk of all things is becoming *the* litmus test.
Even just talking about the event publicly without a sufficient supply of sackcloth and ashes is cast as "promoting political violence." I haven't seen this kind of mandatory performance of allegiance and piety since 9/11.

Got a (perfectly nice!) comment on my very dystopian, very thoroughly tagged kink fic that the reader thought the fic was too extreme for their tastes and was going to stop reading. Very valid on their part, just baffled why they felt the need to inform me, the author, about it.
