If you go in public without a mask it's because you care more about not wearing a mask than not killing people by asymptomatically spreading covid. It's just true, no matter how much you hate it.

Love when something helps my health more than anything else has ever helped but insurance declares it medically unnecessary so I don't get to do it anymore. It's the only effective treatment for my condition, it's uncontroversial, safe, scientifically backed, and working. But nope. No more PT.

Deleted a comment because last thing I want to do is be in an expert's replies (especially one who isn't a white man) being seen as anti-vaccine (I am pro-vaccine), but the vaccines didn't fix covid. We are still dying. A big part of the drop-off in mortality is lack of reporting.

Every time I accidentally step out of my little bubble of thoughtful queer fiction I remember that most authors do not understand the basics of the genre they're writing in, if that genre ends in "punk".

Those crazy bastards pulled it off. They got the three wishes from the Mythic Elite undead water genie and managed to kill him and take their payment back. They've acquired mythic power, healed one's brother, and thrown a major monkey wrench into my plot plans and THEIR plot plans both.

In my Pathfinder 2e game tonight, someone's actually going to make a Wish from an evil genie. As a GM, I've literally never had someone actually take the bait on a free Wish before, and she's going to Wish to become a goddess.
I can't wait. I literally can't wait. I'm going to die of waiting.

Haven't gotten my hands on @haileypiperfights.bsky.social's newest yet so I just finished The Worm and his King. As someone who's been through a weirdly similar situation it hit hard. Being t4t doesn't guarantee you won't get sacrificed to the Worm, but it helps!

My daughter (who has come out as both queer and trans already) got to come out to me as polyamorous yesterday, and it was really nice getting to sit down with her and have a long talk about some of how I've made non-monogamy work in my life.
