I so agree with this young man.
Thank you, Danni Perry!

STANDING UP AGAINST GENOCIDE‼️

Dancer Danni Perry raised a Palestine flag at the Royal Opera House.

Director Oliver Mears told him
"You will never work at the opera house again."

I told him—
"I don't give a flying fuck."

Should the UK be happy that its trade in services has performed well? Was this the result of Brexit?

The short answers are “no” and “no”.

Police Scotland arrested this man under terrorism legislation for wearing this t-shirt. The charge is supporting a proscribed terrorist organisation in a public place, while leafleting for a demonstration against genocide. What if we all wore such t-shirts? Everywhere?

1. Yesterday, 86 people were arrested in the UK under the Terrorism Act 2000 for holding signs saying "I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action."
They are the opposite of terrorists. They were protesting *against* terrorism. 🧵

Well done @labourlewis.bsky.social

Deeming Palestine Action a ‘terror’ group is draconian & could set a precedent to ban any direct action protest group
Watch: I spoke in parliament today to oppose banning the direct action protest group Palestine Action under UK anti-terrorism laws.

We shouldn't confuse dissent and terror.

This week a question from @rachaelmaskell.bsky.social revealed that the UK is training Israeli soldiers - making us actively complicit in the Israeli government's genocide in Gaza. I've asked the Defence Secretary if he'll put a stop to this - there is no excuse for letting this go on.

Not complicit.

Actively participating.

We need a full independent inquiry into Starmer and his government's role in genocide and we need it NOW.

This, like everything Israel does, is straightforward. It has no right to intercept a ship in international waters, kidnap its crew, deport them. No more right than it has to occupy Palestinian land, to murder aid workers and journalists, to commit genocide. Always lawless, always against humanity.

Labour are opposed to membership of the EU. Of course they are doing everything in their power to make membership more difficult.
If you oppose Brexit then do not vote for the 3 pro-Brexit parties:

Blue Reform

Even as they try and narrow the post-Brexit gap with the EU on things like SPS checks for food, Labour continue to drive forward plans to weaken environmental protections in ways that would never be allowed in the EU. All deviation makes an eventual Rejoin harder.

If true, depressing and stupid, negatively impacting on Labour's growth focus & screwing one of UK's few strategic advantages & success stories, when overseas students aren't even the focus of anti-immigration ire - which won't be deflected by this.
Lose to Reform so give Reform everything they want. Well, that's been a winning strategy so far. Once again we have a government hell bent on demonising migrants to pander to what is in fact a minority of voters. It doesn't work, and people suffer in the meantime.
