Two governments took The News Agents to secret court for two years via a constitutionally unprecedented superinjunction to stop you from hearing this story.

The MoD is responsible for a data leak that put up to 100,000 Afghans at risk of death.

The European Union has triggered Article 122 to indefinitely immobilise the assets of the Russian Central Bank, worth a whopping €210 billion.

I explain what just happened and why this is such a big deal for Europeans.

@bobbyllew.bsky.social might be of interest for ABM as you did an episode about ZipCar a few years ago.
Zipcar is shutting down its UK operations, basically the only car club that worked in London. Massive kick to anyone who tries to live in capital without owning a car. Having been a customer for 17 years and used Zipvans to move house repeatedly, this is.... very bad! (Zipcar is owned by Avis)

Make sure to follow what @phillipspobrien.bsky.social says about the "peace plan"
Here is Trump's full 28 point plan for Ukraine. It would destroy Ukraine as a sovereign state and leave it helpless to face a Russian attack in the future. It would also give Putin full vindication and immunity from prosecution.

@chimpman.bsky.social Just peered into the new coffee place under the railway bridge. There were already coffee pots on the counter. Could be opening soon? Or have they been gathering dust there for a while?

Interesting thread
Quick thread on the BBC and the political and societal significance of recent developments:

One of the main reasons the UK has historically been so much less polarised than the US, is that Britain has a shared source of information, consumed and trusted by most people regardless of their politics.

This is so cool, and in a country as small as Aotearoa New Zealand, electric airplanes make SO much sense.

Yes, I would infinitely prefer trains, and particularly electric trains (PLEASE!) but in lieu of such, replacing our domestic ICE airplanes is a no-brainer:
