2008 Thanks to the financial crash on Labour's watch I lost my job in animation.

2010 I lost my "temp job" at Camden PCT when the coalition scrapped PCTs.

2013 I lost my admin job at a GP practice when GP funding is frozen by the coalition.

2025 Now I face redundancy thanks to Wes Streeting.

The edit made by the BBC of Trump’s speech prior to the Capitol riot did not materially make any difference. Trump did incite the incident.

Rachel Reeves signals plan to remove two-child benefit cap in budget.

Welcome. Would lift 350,000 children out of poverty.

Why did Starmer/Reeves follow the Tory policy? Why did 7 MPs have their whip withdrawn for voting against the policy?

What was the point of making children suffer?

So let's just stand back for a moment and consider what the facts are here.  Politicians still pretend that tax funds public spending in the UK. It doesn't, and they still pretend that we must balance the books of the government, and we don't need to.

the idle wealthy hoarding cash and assets that do nothing for growth, do need to pay more tax so that their wealth can be redistributed to those who will spend it. But that's it. That's the only tax increase that we need.

Private rent in UK now swallows 44% of the average wage.

Monthly cost jumps to record £1,385 outside London, £2,736 in the capital.

Lack of social and affordable housing, no rent controls, as govts appease corporations and the rich.

Profiteering creating poverty/despair, stifling economic growth.
