Has anyone written about @olufemiotaiwo.bsky.social's "elite capture" and how it manifests in specific academic fields? I can think of anecdotal examples of how some in rhet/comp have taken up language that emerges from specific labor abuses of grad students and WPAs... Would like to read more

Nobody was hurt and a suspect has been caught and charged with arson, but not much is public. Beth Israel is part of JXN's long tradition of racial justice.

If they truly think the video makes the shooting seem justified, it’s because they believe summary execution is an appropriate punishment for “being a bitch” and they feel confident that many other men believe the same thing

1) he told her to get out of the car, and ultimately shot her, because he wanted to punish her for making him feel small
2) she made him feel small, not because she was a threat to him or anyone else, but because she was not afraid of him
