That was exactly my first thought. I think, I hope I'm very wrong, the Democratic party will not be back in power during my lifetime. Russia played the long game and they won, they have their puppet in power, and they will continue chipping away our rights and eroding democracy until it's destroyed.
This is exactly why everyone in the US must be aware of the fact that this is not going to be a 4 year ordeal that ends with the next election.

Getting fascists out again usually requires bloodshed. They don't leave voluntarily.

All because of fragile men and the price of butter.
