To the person that wrote "it's ok to poop" in bold paint pen on the ad stuck to the tp holder in one of my college's bathrooms: you're my hero and I'm in platonic love with you.

If someone can't discuss a topic without avoiding hateful language (slurs) then they are a bad faith actor. They don't actually care about the issue. Rather than try to debate them just call them what they are and move on.

It's easy for the impact of a tragedy like the recent crashes to not hit emotionally because you didn't know the people involved. And then your SIL tells you two of her friends were on the plane that went into the Potomac. Now it's very real.

I understand why people are mass exiting other social media apps, but is anybody planning to stay just to keep an eye on the discourse on them? Is this even something worth doing? That's not even to mention my feelings on isolationism. What are your thoughts?

Pushed myself to join my college's Unity walk and service projects in honor of MLK. I want to document this moment where I picked my community over my comfort. This is not a pat on the back but a reminder to myself that it's worth it every time. 💙

This current job market is depressing. With over 15 years of customer service experience I can't even get a response on a cashier job at a grocery store. With little to no exp in my new field, I'm not getting answers from those employers either.

But nobody wants to work these days. 🙄

Gisèle Pelicot is my hero. Her statement after the convictions made me unexpectedly cry. May the rest of her life be peaceful. May the light of her strength be a beacon to those who need it. We see you, Gisèle. And to those that suffer in silence. I see you. 💙

On the road to see my family for a Christmas get together. I'm going to be telling them I'm legally changing my name. I've received my court date and there's no solid reason it shouldn't go through. Nervous is an understatement, but I know they love me. 💙

Today, attorneys for SpaceX and Amazon are arguing before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals that the National Labor Relations Board is unconstitutional.

Both companies had been found in violation of workers' rights by the NLRB.

Today is my first day back in class after a partial thyroidectomy to remove a toxic nodule. I cried driving to the train station cause I don't have a lump in my throat choking me when I sing. I thought my singing voice would be gone forever. 😭

MAGA’s embrace of RFK Jr’s “Make America Healthy Again” is so funny because these same people CRUCIFIED Michelle Obama for daring to suggest that American kids should have access to healthy lunches in school.
