Hello Bluesky. My name is Renee. I'm a retired 3D animator, married, mother of 3 young adults, crazy chicken lady, and pawma to an adorable pup. My education focused around illustration and graphic design. My passions are art and gardening. I garden on a 1/4 acre suburban lot. Glad to be here.

I deleted my last post for my own mental health. Something gardeners know is life ebbs and flows through periods of darkness and light. During the darkest days, we plan, organize, and assist to bring about the beauty that we see in our own gardens each spring, summer and autumn.

I usually take a break from working in the garden in December and pick back up working in the greenhouse in January. Over the winter I tend to do more arts and crafts. This year I have begun to dabble in miniature painting. This miniature is 45mm tall. #art #miniatures #warhammer #fantasy 🎨

I've been quiet lately because I can't understand how people think this is ok. We have seen lives torn apart by ICE. Good people. Kind people. People who deserve respect. We also know people who cheer about ICE arrests - people who were friends, but not anymore. All of this is hard to process.

Still learning the #Blender graphic user interface. Blender is free to download and use, and is open source. This is today's practice model. I learned more about the hair particle system while modeling the floral rug, & used an add-on called "Tissue" to model the waste paper basket. #3Dartist #art 🎨

I wanted to learn #Blender and needed to design a new #chicken #coop, so I used Blender as my design tool. I used 3D Studio Max during my career, but I must say, Blender is very good 3D software, especially for software that is available to download and use for free. #art 🎨

I have been an Independent since 1991, who has volunteered many hours of my time to help the Democrat party. This is long overdue. I blame the Democrats, as much as the Republicans, for the mess we are in.

Check your ballot. It’s possible that it’s been challenged due to leaving the ballot envelope unsigned or a signature mismatch. You can cure that with King County Elections so your ballot is counted! kingcounty.gov/en/dept/elec...

🌱 A few weeks back, a neighbor asked why I leave the roses to fade on my rose bushes. This is why. Beautiful Autumn and Winter color. Not all roses develop rose hips, but many do. #garden #Zone8b #bloomscrolling
