Woke up and my work account is locked. This is a sign that I shouldn't be working. I should go back to sleep.

What do people without rats do with their free time. What use are my hands if not for petting.

I start work again tomorrow. I sort of don't want to, but I'm also bored out of my mind.

We were looking at used snowboards with my nephew and mother. I never thought we would argue so much between ourselves about which ones were AI. It was so tiresome honestly. We can't trust anything.

The last year was very hard as my father was dying. It became that much harder when I discovered that AI played a role in amplifying his physical pain, and perhaps hastening the end of his life. It wasn’t easy to write about what happened, but I’ve tried.

I never realized just how many cardboard boxes Simon had throughout the house. It's so much.

😔 Simon decided he couldn't endure his respiratory illness any longer. He stayed with us for Christmas and the New Year, for which I'm extremely grateful. Rest in Peace my little Gremlin 😞. May you find all the snacks you loved in the afterlife.
