Listening to the The Expanse audiobook and rotating in my mind the idea of doing a comic where comm links and who is broadcasting to who is an important aspect of the plot.

a not insignificant number of people on Threads seem to believe the snow storm was The Government's attempt to refreeze the Leviathan, the world-eating serpent, which was getting loose (to eat the world, I assume)

If you're a writer: learn to do something else. Learn to letter, flat, color, or hell even do line art. Get comfortable doing at least one part of the artistic process.
It'll save you money on making your own comics and give you a way to make some money when no one wants to pick up your pitches.
