Micro Meditation (Mantra)

So Ham - “I am,” as in “I am THAT” — pronounced as “so hum…”

Say it out loud, then internalize it, repeating “so ham”

Do not focus on breath. When attention wanders, gently bring attention back to the mantra.

Try it for 3 minutes.

Research shows rain gardens are remarkably effective at capturing runoff.

When San Francisco installed 30 new rain gardens along a 12-block strip in the city’s Outer Sunset neighborhood, the corridor reduced the amount of stormwater entering the sewer by 95 percent for the area.
Heavier storms are here. Rain gardens can help.
At the most basic level, they function like sponges.
