Hi there, I'm Noah. I'm an enthusiast photographer, adventurer, biker, hiker, etc. from the Pacific Northwest.

I've captured a little bit of everything over the years—wildlife, urbex, landscapes, events, and a lot more.

You can see my complete portfolio on my website at redshiftphoto.com.
A few weeks ago my family and I went whale watching in Depoe Bay, Oregon, and apparently we picked the best day for it because we saw at LEAST eight or nine whales 😮✨

Took a day to ride around the Mt Hood Fruit Loop the week before last to get some fresh air. I stopped at the Grateful Vineyards for some cider, enjoyed the fall day, and took some pictures of bees ✨

Last summer, I went backpacking at Serene Lake in the Mt. Hood National Forest. I went on a Sunday so I could see the Perseid meteor shower, and wound up having the whole lake to myself ✨

Some pictures I took on my last visit to the Oregon Coast Aquarium—I love going there because of all the shorebird habitats they have open 🐦💖

Hey sorry I've been super AWOL and haven't posted here in a minute; my kitty Sophia had a bit of a medical emergency the week before last and that kind of took all my time and attention

She's doing well now though! If she keeps recovering well she'll be released from The Cone Zone on Friday 🙏

It is at the base of icebergs where the magic happens. The deep blues of a small iceberg reflect in wondrous pastel tones off the gently undulating waters of Greenland's magnificent Scoresby Sund.

I love the stark white color of a great egret. They are so graceful when they land or take off. This beauty was photographed at the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge. #photography #birds #wildlife #wildlifephotography #EastCoastKin #egrets

Last month in #Greenland. Photographers rush to the railing as an iceberg floats by. It was so awesome to float among them and experience their uniqueness; always wondering.... which corner is the tip of the iceberg?

A young Pied-Billed Grebe slides thru the glassy, clear waters looking for a fish lunch.

They have lobbed feet at their buttocks for underwater swimming power.

Some shots of a short hike I took to the old Tygh Valley Powerhouse, down on the White River near Maupin, OR. Nice waterfall nearby, too ✨

very few ppl are as talented and fortunate as bill cunningham. but i often think about how he was able to live an honest life doing what he loved because he lived simply. even at the height of his career, he slept on a cot. as he once said, "if you don’t take money, they can’t tell you what to do."
