A few weeks ago my family and I went whale watching in Depoe Bay, Oregon, and apparently we picked the best day for it because we saw at LEAST eight or nine whales 😮✨

Took a day to ride around the Mt Hood Fruit Loop the week before last to get some fresh air. I stopped at the Grateful Vineyards for some cider, enjoyed the fall day, and took some pictures of bees ✨

Hey sorry I've been super AWOL and haven't posted here in a minute; my kitty Sophia had a bit of a medical emergency the week before last and that kind of took all my time and attention

She's doing well now though! If she keeps recovering well she'll be released from The Cone Zone on Friday 🙏

Some pictures I took on my last visit to the Oregon Coast Aquarium—I love going there because of all the shorebird habitats they have open 🐦💖

Some shots of a short hike I took to the old Tygh Valley Powerhouse, down on the White River near Maupin, OR. Nice waterfall nearby, too ✨

Last summer, I went backpacking at Serene Lake in the Mt. Hood National Forest. I went on a Sunday so I could see the Perseid meteor shower, and wound up having the whole lake to myself ✨

Some more views of the coast around Yaquina Lighthouse on a sunny day in September 2022. One of my favorite places to ride to ✨

Went to Manzanita Beach again this weekend, and caught a bunch of kite surfers taking advantage of the windy day.

Going for walks around Sauvie Island is always great because there's tons of Ospreys that make their nests on navigation beacons along the Columbia river 💖

Some pictures from one of many trips I've made to Yaquina Lighthouse on the OR coast, these ones from the day I caught about 100 harbor seals during naptime.

My favorite urbex pictures have always come from my Helios 44-2; famous old Soviet lens that you can stick on an adapter and shoot with modern mirrorless cameras. I’ve had this thing forever and it’s been a workhorse for me.

Some more shots from that urbex trip I did to the Cargill Grain Elevator back in 2020. Lots of flat, featureless concrete walls have become a canvas for the city's graffiti artists over the years.

There's more in the gallery of me actually going inside that I'll post later, but I was only able to access the ground level since the first-level stairs had been removed a while ago after a kid fell to his death. I wasn't about to try and parkour my way up.

Been going through and re-exporting a bunch of old albums, here's an old favorite; exploring the old Cargill's Grain Elevator along the Buffalo River. Got some good exterior shots before heading inside—

On a nice day back in April, I hopped on my motorcycle and rode out to Nehalem Bay to try and see some of the Snowy Plovers nesting there. I got lucky and was able to find a couple!

Got a new bunch of photos edited and uploaded to the site! These are from a hike I took to Tolmie Peak fire lookout near Mt. Rainier. Absolutely stunning views, I definitely need to go back.

Might as well start off with some of my favorite pictures I've taken, from the first time I went to Cannon Beach after moving out west.
