Hastie’s caveat, cause like high standards there not before?
Andrew Hastie confirms combat roles open to women but there's a caveat.

"One thing that we will insist on is high standards coz in combat there's no points for second place so we need to be able to win every fight that we go into & that's why we'll uphold high standards." #ausvotes

According to Lurch (Dutton) Penny Wong ‘rolled’ Marles. Lol Now Hastie (high standards) blames Labor for using women as political pawns. Lol he just sank himself.

Tinkering around the edges isn’t helping. We need to reverse the commodification of housing with a model that puts people first.

NSW Health has no mandated rest requirements in the doctor's award, despite doctor's routinely being rostered for 14 hour shifts. Let that sink in.

Here’s a surprise, Peter Dutton’s fuel excise cut is not only bad economic and environmental policy, it turns out the Coalition has also cooked the books on how much people are likely to get. australiainstitute.org.au/post/fuel-ex...
Fuel excise cut: bad policy and not worth as much as advertised
Halving the fuel excise is bad for the environment and for most Australians won't deliver the cost-of-living benefits that are being spruiked.

Coalition promises to halve fuel excise, shaving 25c off a litre of petrol
Opposition Leader Peter Dutton will promise to halve the tax on fuel for 12 months in his budget reply on Thursday, which the Coalition says would save a two-car household roughly $28 a week on average and reduce inflationary pressures.

I would like just one Labor politician to acknowledge that you cannot live on these payments! On the DSP, a king’s ransom by comparison, I was hitting zero every fortnight. The smallest unexpected expense is a catastrophe. JobSeeker is far, far worse.
In fact, not just speeches. In opposition Labor supported a Greens motion to increase JobSeeker to the poverty line.

JobSeeker is currently $220 a week below the poverty line.
Perhaps now is a good time to post all those stirring speeches Mr. Albanese made about raising the rate - when he was in opposition.
