The national debt is higher.

The trade deficit is wider.

The inflation rate has worsened.

The unemployment rate is up.

Nuzzi's fawning coverage of the sociopathic conspiracy crank she was having an affair with aided his rise to political power, which he is using to perpetrate the worst intentional public health catastrophe of our unnecessarily shortened lifetimes, and THAT is the STORY.

WATCH — @repstevenhorsford.bsky.social : “My amendment would redirect that $40 BILLION from Argentina to fund the ACA subsidies for two years… a far better use of taxpayer dollars.”

Why do we have money for Argentina while our own people lose their health care? How does this make us great?

Republicans are scrambling to cover up the Epstein file, but we say anyone involved in Epstein's billion-dollar child sex trafficking ring must be brought to justice—whether Republicans, Democrats or, yes, even presidents.

Senate Republicans blocked a resolution demanding full funding for SNAP benefits.

This, as Trump still refuses to fully restore SNAP to 42 million Americans.

As we head into the midterms, don't forget: GOP lawmakers are fully complicit with Trump's weaponization of hunger.

Remember: The richest 1% evade over $160 billion in taxes every year.

That amount would fund SNAP for a year with money to spare.

Ask yourself who the real freeloaders are.

If people are working full-time jobs and still need food stamps to survive, then they aren’t the welfare queens.

Their employers are.

This isn’t a game. Some middle class families in Connecticut are going to get a $25,000 increase in health care premiums in a week. Democrats shouldn’t support a budget that does that to people - just as a means to pay for a giant tax cut for billionaires and corporations.

yes--make it make sense
We can’t pay air traffic controllers during the shutdown, making us less safe, but we can send $40 billion to bail out Argentina.

Make it make sense.

And coincidentally, $40 billion was about the exact same amount of money that USAID administered -- for the whole world.
