Despite Russian propaganda claim, Ukrainian fighters have cleared the city center of Pokrovsk.
Russian advance halted in Pokrovsk city center — military analyst
Russian advance halted in Pokrovsk city center — military analyst
Military analyst Vasyl Pekhnio stated this on Espreso TV."A certain phase of hostilities has now begun in Pokrovsk, which can be characterized as a media war. Over the weekend, our fighters, particularly the 7th Air Assault Corps, announced that they had successfully cleared the central part of the city. The operation was conducted with the involvement of aviation and assault units under the overall command of the 7th Air Assault Corps. In other words, the Russians truly had a tough time there," Pekhnio noted.According to the military analyst, as soon as these reports emerged, propaganda sources immediately began to show their version of events—allegedly, that Russians were walking calmly in the central part of Pokrovsk. And indeed, the locations where they filmed their videos were identified as Pokrovsk, but with a catch: when was it filmed—yesterday, or two to three weeks ago?"In response, our fighters from the 425th Skelya assault regiment showed another video of them conducting clearing operations in the city center. This means the media war is ongoing. Incidentally, this could very well indicate that the Russians are having no real success, are not advancing, and are not capturing new positions, because they are genuinely stuck in the city center.""However, this doesn't mean we are already recapturing Pokrovsk or that a counteroffensive is about to begin. It means that our unmanned systems have managed to create a 'kill zone,' which allows for the formation of a line of contact within the city itself. This was a very difficult task, but as of now, our Unmanned Systems Forces are handling it," Pekhnio emphasized.Over the past day, November 24, 183 combat clashes were recorded on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The Defense Forces repelled 61 enemy attacks in the Pokrovsk sector.

Russia's Tu-95MS bomber modernization halted by Ukrainian strike — expert
Russia's Tu-95MS bomber modernization halted by Ukrainian strike — expert
Anatolii Khrapchynskyi, an aviation expert and the deputy general director of a company that produces electronic warfare systems, made this statement on Espreso TV."The Beriev plant is the only one in Russia involved in the modernization and repair of Tu-95MS aircraft, which are actively used for strikes on Ukrainian territory by launching Kh-101 and Kh-555 cruise missiles. This plant once produced projects like the A-50 and A-100, but these programs were suspended because most of the prototypes and some operational components were destroyed, which now prevents Russia from resuming these programs," Khrapchynskyi noted.According to the aviation expert, the A-60 aircraft is an old Soviet project that was intended to disable U.S. early warning satellite systems by blinding the optics of these satellites or other systems with a laser beam."We know that Russia uses a multitude of American components, yet it threatens the United States. This creates a paradox: if they defeat the U.S., where will they get their technology? It should be noted that this aircraft posed a greater threat to the satellite systems of the U.S. and other countries because it could interfere with their operation," Khrapchynskyi added.Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army lost 1,120 soldiers in the war against Ukraine. The Defense Forces also neutralized dozens of units of enemy equipment and weaponry.

Ukraine strikes Russia with Neptune missiles, reportedly destroys A-60 aircraft
The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported the information. The attack was a joint operation by units from the Rocket Forces and Artillery, Special Operations Forces, the Navy's coastal missile forces, and the Unmanned Systems Forces, which used Bars jet UAVs and Neptune cruise missiles. In the city of Taganrog, Rostov region, Russian Federation, strikes were carried out on the Beriev TANTK Aircraft Repair Plant and the Atlant Aero enterprise, which produces Molniya UAVs.Numerous explosions and significant fires were observed at the facilities.During the strike on the Beriev TANTK plant, the experimental A-60 aircraft was likely hit. This facility also repairs and modernizes A-50 AWACS aircraft and Russian Tu-95MS strategic bombers.Furthermore, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, in close cooperation, successfully attacked the Sheskharis oil terminal in Novorossiysk, as well as the Tuapse oil refinery in the Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation.According to preliminary information, the targets in Novorossiysk were oil loading stands (devices for loading/unloading oil to tankers) and a launcher from an S-400 air defense system. The extent of the damage is being clarified. On November 18, the Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully used ATACMS missile systems for precision strikes on military targets within Russian territory.According to aviation expert Anatolii Khrapchynskyi, Russia's Tu-95MS bomber modernization was halted by a Ukrainian strike.

U.S. holds secret talks with Russia in Abu Dhabi on ending Ukraine war
U.S. holds secret talks with Russia in Abu Dhabi on ending Ukraine war
ABC News reported the information.U.S. Army Secretary Dan Driscoll conducted confidential discussions with a Russian delegation in Abu Dhabi on Monday and Tuesday. The meetings represent the first direct engagement with Russian representatives following weekend negotiations in Geneva between American and Ukrainian officials. The Abu Dhabi talks focused on a revised peace proposal that has been streamlined from 28 points to 19 points. The updated plan notably removes provisions addressing amnesty for wartime actions and restrictions on Ukraine's future military capabilities—two contentious issues that had complicated earlier discussions. The Geneva meetings were led by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, and Driscoll, who presented the initial framework to Ukrainian representatives. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy acknowledged in a Monday evening address that additional work remained on the revised proposal.Russian officials had previously stated they received no information about the Geneva discussions or subsequent modifications to the peace plan. Driscoll's trip to Abu Dhabi appears designed to address that gap, briefing the Russian delegation on changes made following consultations with Ukraine. The Army Secretary's prominent role in these sensitive diplomatic efforts emerged from discussions between President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance two weeks ago. While unconventional for a military service secretary to lead such negotiations, administration officials believe a military representative may resonate more effectively with both Moscow and Kyiv.Prior to entering Ukraine last week, Driscoll coordinated with Rubio and Witkoff and stopped in Germany for additional briefings. He was accompanied by senior Army leadership, including Gen. Randy George, the Army Chief of Staff, though these military officers did not participate in the subsequent diplomatic sessions. The secret Abu Dhabi meetings signal the administration's determination to maintain momentum in peace efforts, despite the complex challenges that have stalled previous attempts to resolve the conflict. The U.S. peace plan for ending Russia's war against Ukraine was shortened by 9 points as a result of negotiations in Geneva.
