Yes. We must extend the ACA tax credits so that over 20 million Americans don't see a doubling in their health premiums, on average. But we must do more. We cannot remain the only major country not to guarantee health care for all as a human right.

We must pass Medicare for All.

Andy, we have gone through this in our family. Thank you for speaking so eloquently for millions of Americans. We are with you.
A few weeks ago, my dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. I won’t lie—it's been incredibly challenging for me and my family.

Now, I’m embarking on a journey to answer the questions so many of us face when it comes to providing care for our loved ones.

I hope you’ll join me.

RIP CDC

Vaccines save lives.
National public health “leadership” (hi RFK Jr 🙄) keeps poisoning public health with lies.

Vaccines prevent needless childhood deaths.

No baby in America should be dying of whooping cough — not when we have safe, effective vaccines literally ready to go.

This is a national tragedy

Active shooter drills don’t make our schools or children safer. Instead, they traumatize students, school staff, and parents. Our kids deserve better—they deserve solutions that prevent gun violence before it happens.

Last year, 320,000 Canadians filed bankruptcy due to their medical bills.

Oopsie, I meant Americans. The Canadian number is slightly lower: zero.

Sad that the integrity of the CDC website has been undermined.
In agreement with my friend @kkjetelina.bsky.social who writes today: "I suggest the general public avoid the CDC website."

"Traditional health insurance" pre-ACA didn't cover pre-ex, had annual/lifetime caps, didn't cover important things like having a baby, led to many declaring bankruptcy when they got sick. Even then, ~50M had no insurance at all because they still couldn't afford it. They clogged ERs to get care.

$2000 won’t buy you healthcare in the US.

$2000 won’t give you “negotiating power” with insurance companies.

A one time payment is not a healthcare plan.

It’s time for Medicare for all.

I urge consumers to understand their rights and to regularly check their credit reports to ensure medical debt does not make an appearance.

Encouraging people to “be entrepreneurs” and negotiate their own health insurance with a multi-billion-dollar for-profit industry is like telling someone to take their Costco membership fee and go negotiate directly with food manufacturers.
