Is it though? Plaid's always been a strong 2nd in the Senedd constituency in Caerphilly. Its run the council twice in the past and is in opposition there with councillors concentrated in the constituency itself. This isn't the bellwether it's being made out to be - we still need tactical voting.

Hard to disagree here.
The worst element of what happened this week isn't even about immigration specifically. It's that Starmer surrendered against populism.

Yup. If Keir Starmer is coming to Welsh Labour Conference, he should speak Cymraeg. It's common sense.
And probably the only olive branch available.

A very extensive report of the Visitor Levy that makes no mention at all of the fact I've done a load of economic modelling on its likely economic impacts for Welsh Government, looking at high mid and low impact scenarios, including 'ripple effects', and impacts are... minimal.

This is an interesting proposal. With the right regulatory reform that Labour is pushing through, the investment in modular reactors will rapidly return profit. It would be a good social investment for the area too.

Very hard to disagree with this sentiment. UK Labour is giving me huge concerns over its position on HS2, Crown Estate and Steel. Wales appears to be second class at every turn and it challenges my ability to represent the party.
UK Parliament recalled today for emergency debate on the future of English Steel. If it was British Steel they'd be discussing how new blast furnaces could be made operational in Port Talbot. When Starmer says British he really means English. When he talks about the nation he means England.

Every penny spent on British steel nationalisation should generate payment to Wales for Port Talbot.
Government in England really needs to articulate why it finds English steel jobs more important than Welsh steel jobs.

#UKNuclear I feel we are missing raves from modern nuclear professionalism.
In 1976, California banned the construction of new nuclear plants. But now, the bipartisan Assembly Bill 305 is moving through Sacramento to legalize nuclear again.

Bay Area: come out to the Rave For Nuclear Energy on 4/20 to celebrate this legislation!

Dropkicks are awesome. They were awesome when I saw them pre kids and they were awesome this year, coming on to Yma O Hyd in Cardiff. Amazing way to warm up a gig.
Dropkick Murphys just had an epic moment at their show:

They made a friendly wager with a fan in a MAGA shirt—“Let’s see where it’s made.”

Then they checked his MAGA shirt tag…

Made in Nicaragua.

They swapped it with a Made in America Dropkick Murphys tee.

Legendary.
