The gender pension gap in the civil service stands at 45%, higher than the UK average of 36.5%. This is unacceptable.

That's why we have written to Cabinet Office Minister Anna Turley to urge the government to take urgent action to address the gap.

In response to the government’s amendments to the Employment Rights Bill, we welcome the proposal to lift the cap on unfair dismissal compensation.

Too many employers “price in” unfair dismissal knowing the maximum cost.

We urge Parliament to pass the amended Bill into law before Christmas.
