This is not hard. Artists are not responsible for ensuring the Kennedy Center remains relevant and successful. The center’s board is responsible for that, in a fiduciary way. All of this energy being directed at artists should be re-directed at the board.

We once had a president who actually cared about repairing/modernizing American infrastructure. He even passed a bill during his term to address its deficiencies. His party waved it off and then dumped him because they were convinced a stutter and foot neuropathy were really proof of dementia.
Am I the only who worries how long all the bridges around the US are gonna last? Most of them joints were built in the 50s and 60s. No one thinks updates, replacements, reinforcements are necessary?

Zelensky is the President of Ukraine. Not some vassal. The head of state. Rubio knows better, even if the rest of them don't. Shameful.
Zelensky lands in Miami. Not a single US official is on hand to greet him. In the language of diplomacy this send an unequivocal message of coldness and hostility. Compare it with the lavish pomp and red carpet shown to Putin when he landed in Alaska a few weeks ago.
