Heads up for folx playing Arc Raiders: Embark has openly stated (in an interview with GamesRadar+), that the game uses the same AI voice tech as The Finals, and the CEO has talked about using AI to generate 3D models from YouTube rips.
If you're anti-AI you should not be playing Arc Raiders!

Not to be the fun police but I do hope people know that Arc Raiders does use generative AI for voice acting, and by supporting the game you're letting higher-ups know that this is an okay practice.
They try to downplay this on the Steam store page by describing the AI usage as vaguely as possible.

I have watched and really loved @realgdt.bsky.social ‘s Frankenstein; however, it’s boiled down to the essentials of the book and cuts down a lot of the plot. Some key characters feel different and others are missing entirely - no Justine? Plus, no real vengeance subplot, no work on a fem. creature?
