Well not a mollusc but a mollusc made product.
#pearls can form as a response to an intruder, a parasite a sand grain etc. I believe this is a #boroque pearl
So here is one more reason to appreciate cool molluscs

Here is an interesting situation. So this noetiid clam, #Shelldonella lateralis, byssally attached living under rocks/crevices, has been drilled by a #moon snail.
