Moon snails typically hunt infaunal prey which makes me think that this abnormally placed drill hole may have something to do with it... Also the shell is highly inequilateral...

They sure did 😊😊 Only the barnacle is weathered and the polydorid probably found the barnacle much easier to bore into. The rest of the shell is in great condition 😊
