Cyclists in SF protested unfair laws targeting cyclists by a large group taking the lane and each rider coming to a full stop at every stop sign. Following the letter of the law stopped traffic in the neighborhood and it was recinded.

Here’s my art!
An IDV fanart of Xie Bi’an based on the art for MioDioDaVinci’s Erika cover. (Side note MioDioDaVinci liked this themselves and I was so proud I saved the like screenshot to my computer.) A lighting study using a screenshot of Aesop from the IDV stageplay! A photograph painting of a cosplayer named ame.usk on Twitter and Instagram. The painting shows Victor Grantz from IDV in his Oni outfit hiding behind a shrine. Fanart of Luca Balsa IDV’s paranormal detective skin… sort of. I wrote an extensive backstory for him for a role play server and this is how I imagined he looked a few years before meeting the main cast and coming out of his shell. He’s notably less cheerful and more bland in his color choices, as well as less obviously queer coded by his era’s standards.

"Selling Out Is Bad" is a valuable concept and despite all the baggage and bullshit and elitism it could contain it's actually really good to reinforce the ideal that having integrity when it matters, especially when it hurts, is what good/cool people do. Should be adapted instead of jettisoned.

There are many versions of this image out there. The good ones illustrate why “better cars” will never be more than part of the answer, and actually help “lock in” the #CarDependency that’s the REAL problem. They also do a good job showing why status-quo interests want to focus on the vehicles.
Images illustrating that electric vehicles take up as much space as fossil fuel vehicles with the same effect of erasing neighbourhoods to make room for cars.
